An infrared sauna cabin in Dubai costs AED 28,000 to 55,000 supplied and installed for one or two people, runs on a standard circuit without a DEWA load change, and can be in your apartment or villa within two weeks. It is the sauna we recommend when the building management will not allow a stone heater, when the DB board has no spare capacity, or when the client wants a daily thirty-minute sweat at low running cost. Who infrared is right for in Dubai
Three groups of clients choose infrared, and for good reasons:
- Apartment and penthouse owners in Dubai Marina, JBR, Downtown Dubai, Business Bay and Al Reem in Abu Dhabi, where the supply is single-phase, there is no floor drain in the right place and building management scrutinises every modification.
- Villa owners who want a daily routine, not an event. An infrared cabin is ready in five minutes, runs for thirty to forty, and costs a fraction of a traditional heater to operate. Families often end up with both: an infrared cabin for weekday evenings and a traditional home sauna in Dubai for the weekend.
- Recovery-focused users who pair heat with a cold plunge and prefer a longer, moderate warm-up before the cold.
What we install
We do not import unbranded cabins from marketplaces. Every infrared sauna we sell is specified for the UAE supply, certified for the socket rating, and supported with spare panels and controllers through our Dubai office.

The cabins are hemlock or thermo-aspen, with tempered glass fronts, low-EMF panels, a digital control with a timer and a Bluetooth audio module. Chromotherapy lighting, a reading light and a fold-down backrest are standard on the two-person models and above.

Buy or have it installed: what is included
Most infrared saunas for sale online in the UAE are sold boxed: a pallet delivered to the lobby, assembly left to you, and no one to call when a panel stops heating. We sell every cabin supplied and installed, because the parts that go wrong in Dubai are the parts a boxed sale leaves out. When you buy from us the price includes:
- a check of the room, the socket circuit and the DB board from your photos, before you order;
- the manufacturer’s specification sheet and a circuit statement for the building NOC, and the fit-out permit application completed with you where the tower uses a portal;
- delivery by service lift at a booked slot, with corridor protection and packaging taken away the same visit;
- assembly by our technicians, a thermal-camera check of every panel, audio pairing and a first session with you;
- the manufacturer’s warranty on panels and controller, and our 24-month warranty on the installation.
Not included: a new circuit where the room has no suitable socket, which we quote separately after reading the DB board, and any fee the building charges for its permit.
Infrared sauna in Dubai Marina, JBR and Downtown apartments
Towers in Dubai have learned to say no to saunas because of the heaters, not the cabins. An infrared cabin removes the objections one by one: no water, no drain, no external vent, no structural fixing, and a power draw that fits a kitchen-appliance circuit. What building management asks for, and what we supply with every order:
- The manufacturer specification sheet showing the rated power and the socket type.
- A one-line statement of the circuit the cabin will use, confirmed from a photo of your DB board.
- A floor plan marking the cabin position, usually in a dressing room, a spare bedroom or a corner of the master bathroom.
- Where required, a fit-out permit application through the building’s portal, which we complete with you.
In Dubai Marina, JBR and JLT the cabin usually goes in a spare bedroom facing the water; in Downtown Dubai and Business Bay, in the dressing room of a penthouse or beside a window towards the Burj; in the mid-rise buildings of Jumeirah Village Circle, in a corner of the living room, with the same three documents for the building. Balconies are almost always refused because they count as facade. Panels are sized for the service lift at the site visit, so nothing is cut or assembled in the corridor. Outdoor infrared sauna in a Dubai garden
Infrared can live outside, but not as an indoor cabin carried onto the terrace. A garden cabin needs a weather-rated shell with a pitched or membrane roof, a raised floor that keeps it off hot paving, and shade: in July an unshaded cabin wall reaches temperatures that bake the panels’ wiring and the control electronics. We place it under a pergola or the villa’s overhang, facing away from the afternoon sun, and bring power in armoured cable to an outdoor-rated isolator. The appeal is practical: it heats in minutes on a winter evening, draws far less than a stone heater, and needs no DEWA load change in most villas. Power, heat and running cost
A two-person cabin draws about 2.1 kW at full output and cycles down once the panels reach temperature. A forty-minute session uses roughly 1.2 kWh; at the upper DEWA residential tariff, that is less than a dirham. Five sessions a week cost under AED 25 a month in electricity. A traditional 9 kW heater used the same way costs three to four times as much, which is one reason the cabins are popular with clients who use the sauna daily.
Heat is delivered by the panels directly to the body. Air temperature settles at 45 to 60 °C depending on the setting, so the room is comfortable to breathe in and the session runs thirty to forty minutes rather than the ten to fifteen of a traditional sauna. Villa installations and built-in infrared
In villas the cabin is often not freestanding. We build infrared into a room the same way we build a custom sauna: aspen-lined walls with carbon panels behind a perforated timber grille, a bench sized for the family, a glass door and hidden lighting. That configuration suits a basement gym in Dubai Hills Estate or a pool house in Jumeirah where the client wants the look of a proper sauna without the three-phase circuit. It is quoted with the room, typically AED 55,000 to 95,000.
Hybrid cabins with both a small stone heater and infrared panels exist and we install them, but they need the DEWA circuit like a traditional sauna, so the argument for infrared disappears. We only recommend them where the client wants the two experiences in one footprint and the supply allows it.
Delivery and installation
From order to installation is typically one to two weeks for a standard cabin, most of which is the building permit where one is needed. On the day, two technicians assemble the cabin in three to four hours, connect it to the socket circuit, test every panel with a thermal camera, pair the audio and run a first session with you. Care in a dusty climate
Infrared panels do not need stones or descaling, but they do need clean grilles. Dust settles on the emitter surfaces and on the fan intakes of the control unit, which shortens their life. We recommend a wipe-down after every few sessions and an annual service where the panels are checked with the thermal camera, the controller firmware updated and the timber treated.
